Grief & Loss Counseling

Now offering virtual and in person grief care for those who are experiencing loss in its many forms, such as the death of a loved one, leaving a job or home, or losing a cherished pet.

Rev. Bereday Burnham is an ordained pastor in the United Church of Christ where she is a Community Minister at First Church in Cambridge, Congregational UCC, and a Spiritual Counselor at VNA Hospice. She offers support to people at the end of life as well as their families—and provides care to anyone experiencing a life transition. Krysia leads virtual and in- person bereavement support groups, facilitates worship services, and officiates at weddings and memorials. She holds degrees from Smith College, Columbia University, and Andover Newton Theological School. In addition, Krysia is currently a candidate for the Doctorate in Ministry at Boston University School of Theology (focus area Practical Theology and Transformational Leadership, specifically the intersection of the healing arts, technology, and grief care for all). In her first career Krysia was a magazine editor who worked on staff at The New Yorker, ELLE, and Vogue. Her articles have appeared in the New York Times Book Review, the New York Post, In Style, and other publications. She is a former Presidential Scholar, a member of the Jonathan Edwards Society, and a recipient of the Francis Riker Davis Award.
