You made this wonderful day, Lord, and decided that I should be in it and I thank you. I can’t wait to see all that this day holds. Help me to meet it with energy and positivity.

I pray that you make me driven and effective today, so that I can start the week with gusto. Let me put effort and care into my work. Bless the work of my hands to bear good fruit.

Bless those grieving the loss of a loved one, dear Lord. Be with them as they experience their grief, letting them know they are loved and not alone. Comfort and console them.

This day will be an excellent one because we get to spend it together. Thank you for always being there for me. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
