Are you there God it’s me...

Waking up far before sunrise reminds me that you are master of the night and the day. You reign even in the deepest dark. Thank you for being Lord of all. There is nowhere I can go where you will not meet me.

Thank you for my life. You have kept me close to you all these years. Help me to welcome you into the whole and innermost parts of my being.

I see injustices in the world and cannot help but wonder where you are. I never wonder where I am. Believers are the body of Christ until Christ returns. Help me to be a courageous representative of you that is unafraid to interrupt injustice.

Bless those that have lost hope and given up. Restore their spirit and help them hold on as you deliver them out of their affliction. Show me how I can be a tangible beacon of your light.

Help me to live faithfully into my calling. Allow me to discern the path you have laid before me oh God. Grant me grace when I fall.

Thank you for being my best friend. Thank you for always being there when I call. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
