Saturday’s Prayer — March 6, 2021

Are you there God it’s me...

I’ve been thinking about the opportunity to return to you in prayer since the last time I said amen and now it is finally here. You have given me another morning, time to devote to you. Thank you for this blessing of life and this sweet communion. They are prescious gifts I do not take for granted.

Help me to be prepared and to engage life however it may come; fast or slow, easy or hard. You can equip me with all that I need. Let me not shirk from fulfilling the promise you have laid before me. Help me not to fear, but to look forward to the challenges of life as opportunities to bear your witness, develop my gifts, and strengthen my faith.

Your will is ever before me, help me to rightly discern it. Let me clearly distinguish your voice above the noise of the world and my own distractions. Alight your path for me so that I may see clearly and walk without stumbling. Your way is sweeter than any other.

Bless those struggling with their faith. Give them help in their endeavors to believe in you and rest on your promises. Lord I believe, help my unbelief. Let the Holy Spirit cover us when our faith is weak and stand in the gap for us when our belief may fail. You are always able to rescue us, even from ourselves.

Thank you for this sweet time together. I will return soon because this part of our relationship is so fulfilling. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.

Amen
