Thank you for this start to another week. I’m so glad you saw me safely home from my travels. It’s been you and me from the beginning and wherever I go, you carry me. Thank you for never leaving or forsaking me.
Let this week be my best week Lord. There are no especially important tasks, no major events to handle, but still I want to do my best for you. Let my actions be a living prayer to you more than ever. Give me the power to turn my faith into action, bearing good fruit in your name oh God. Give me a living faith.
I pray for refugees and other displaced people dear Father. Give them welcoming places to receive them. Resolve the conflicts or lack of opportunities that drive them away from their homes. Let them travel safely. Help our world realize we are all interconnected and that there is no such thing as an outsider. Show me what I can do to be part of the solution.
Your love for me is so amazing and unconditional, I can not even behold it all. Thank you for always being there for me, for everyone. Let us all feel your presence, especially when we need you most. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
