Once again, you came through for me and I praise you for another day, even though it’s way too early. But whenever I wake up, you’re always there with me. Let me never lose that awareness of your presence in my life.
Thank you for blessing the world with your Son. In this season of Easter, I can’t stop rejoicing over Christ’s resurrection. Your love for the world bowls me over sometimes. Help me to love myself and others the way you love us, unconditionally.
Bless the imprisoned dear Lord. Our penal system is so harsh, but you can break chains anywhere Lord God. Help us to care for those behind bars. Let us see and cherish their humanity. Show me to how to overcome my hesitation about prison ministry.
Today I am in awe of your mercy. You give us second and third and fourth chances, to infinity. Let me be as forgiving to others as you have been to me. Lord in your mercy hear my prayer.
