Are you there God it’s me...

Thank you for this morning. Thank you for my cat waking me up early in the day. You have put breath in my lungs and a song in my heart. Help me to celebrate this new day you have given.

Let me have a fabulous day where I am able to embrace all that you have for me. Help me to make the most of the opportunities you give me. Grant that the work I do may make a positive difference in the world.

Bless those that are in danger Lord. Protect them and keep them from harm. Hold them safe in the palm of your hand. Always give them a means of escape. Help me to work toward making things safer for others.

Help me to rejoice in this day that you have made. All of your ways are holy and I praise your name. Teach me how to lift up your name and give you glory. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
