It’s a blessing to be alive!

I have come to rely on you so much that I expect to wake up by your grace each morning. But let me never take it for granted. This day is infused with your presence and your goodness so I rejoice.

Thank you for this day of worship. I pray you would teach me how to worship you in spirit and in truth. Let me meet the Risen Lord today and follow wherever he leads. Let my worship of you bless me and bless your people.

Thank you for letting me sleep late. You always give me exactly what I need. It is a great day to be alive and hidden in you, Lord. Your mercies are new every morning, even if I don’t wake up on time.

Help me to honor your Sabbath and not go my own way but delight in you. Grant that I may do things that are pleasing in your sight. Let’s spend the day together so I may rejoice in you.
