Are you there God it’s me...

I love seeing the sky lighten as the day begins. It reminds me that there is magic in each day. Let me never take it for granted that you have set the wonder of creation in motion. Thank you Lord for giving me another day.

Help me to discern and embrace my purpose in this life at this time. Take away any indecision I have and let me walk the path you have set before me with my whole heart. Grant that I may be happy and fulfilled in doing your will.

Bless the homeless and the food insecure. Give them housing and abundant nutrients. Cover them with your grace and mercy. Move the hearts of us with plenty that we may be filled with a desire to share and moved to do so.

You are always listening, even when I don’t know what to say. Help me to be a better listener. Let me have a spirit of approachability so that I may get to be a source of comfort to those in need. Make me more and more like you in all I do.

Great is your mercy towards me oh God. You have set into motion the answers to my prayers before I even knew to voice them. Thank you for caring for me. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
