Are you there God it’s me...

Sometimes I forget that a good night’s sleep is truly a miracle. Thank you for seeing me through to another day. I am grateful for the “little things” you give me each moment that add up to life. It’s incredible to think that you sustain everyone on earth just like you do me.

Help me to live in the moment more Lord. Let me not be preoccupied with the past or worried about what may come, but present in the here and now. Help me especially to notice others more instead of having my mind on something else.

I miss my mom. Let me be active and intentional in deepening my friendships and forming new healthy relationships that feed my soul. You have woven us together so that happiness can only be achieved mutually. Help me to play a meaningful and rewarding part in the lives of others.

Bless those having a hard time making a living. Bless them with appropriate employment, sufficient income, and a sense of fulfilled purpose. You know what each of us needs dear Father. From the depths of your wisdom give us our daily bread, each according to our hunger.

Thank you for not forgetting me. As I slept you monitored every breath. Now as I go about my day, grant me the desires of my heart, for you have heard my prayers. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
