Thank you for waking me up well rested and ready to go. The day is mine thanks to you. You are so faithful in giving me my daily bread. I shall give thanks to you and praise your name.

I can’t wait to see what the day you have made holds for me. Grant that I may fully engage the day and uncover all it has to offer. Let me be blessed in all I do today and be a blessing to others.

Bless those suffering from gun violence Lord. Grant the peace and the consolation of your presence. Cover our land with your peace. Show me what role I can play in putting and end to the violence.

Show me how to be more loving and generous like you Lord. Let me put my entire trust in you. In your goodness Lord give me all I need, this day and every day. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
