Today will be sweet, I can tell. Thank you for blessing me with it. You have given me everything, even the sun that is shining. Teach me how to be ever grateful for all that you have blessed me with. Especially what I have taken for granted.

Help me to have a useful day where I not only help myself but also those in need. Show me how to be more receptive to the needs of others. Lord let me be your instrument in my life and in the world.

Bless the places in conflict in the world. Bring your Spirit of peace to rest, rule, and abide in those regions. Let love and respect rule. Help me to be a peacemaker that can promote positive change.

I am so glad to wake up to you every day Lord. Our sweet communion sustains me. I am grateful for every moment. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
