I’m so thankful, LORD.

I’m sleepy but joyous for you to open my eyes this morning and put more life into my body. My gratefulness for Your presence in my life and all You do for me is flowing free.

Energize me and direct my day as only You can, LORD. Order my steps so that I am aligned with Your will. Allow me to spread Your joy and peace everywhere I go and to all I meet.

Bless those mourning the loss of a loved one, Sweet Holy Spirit. Bring them comfort and consolation, strength and support, and even peace and joy in the midst of their grieving.

I affirm that everything will go exactly as You desire it to. Shower me with Your love and I will do Your will in joy and thanksgiving. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray.
